Privacy Policy
We collect as little as we can and never sell any of it. Here’s the plain version, followed by the full one.
The plain version
- We only collect what you type into our contact form and newsletter box.
- We use it to reply to you and, if you subscribed, to send The Wide Shot.
- This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad trackers.
- We don’t sell or rent your data to anyone.
- You can ask us to see or delete it anytime at [email protected].
Who we are
Anamorphic Studios is a creative and technology studio based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This policy covers www.anamorphicstudios.com and the forms on it. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
When you send the contact form: your name and email, your phone or WhatsApp number if you add one, what kind of client you are, the services you’re interested in, your budget range and currency, your timeline and your message. When you join the newsletter: your email address. When any form is sent, our form service briefly uses your IP address to block spam and repeated sends. We don’t collect anything else about you.
How we use it
To read and answer your enquiry, send you one confirmation email, and scope and quote your project. If you joined the newsletter, to send The Wide Shot. We don’t use your details for automated decisions or profiling, and we don’t add an enquiry to the newsletter unless you ask.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. If you close the announcement bar, your browser remembers that choice in its own storage, and it never leaves your device. If we ever add analytics, we’ll update this page first.
Who else handles it
Our forms run on Cloudflare, and Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) delivers the emails they send. Your enquiry then sits in our studio inbox. These providers handle your details only to deliver that service for us. We don’t share them with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as we need them to talk to you about a project. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Ask us and we’ll delete yours sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, if you’re in the EU or UK, the GDPR also let you complain to your data protection authority. Write to us first and we’ll put it right.
Children
This site and our services are meant for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date below.
